Lud's was established in 1964 as the first and only fast food restaurant in Alpena. We have been a hometown restaurant for 41 years providing good quality food, at a reasonable price, served fast and friendly. The founder Miles Ludlow instilled these standards in every meal we served. We served 100% ground beef grilled to perfection with fresh onions, seasoned just right and served with only the best garnishes. We bake our hot dog buns and make our sauce from scratch to create the unique taste for our Coney Dogs.
On Sept. 21st, 2007 LUD'S served itís last meal. This marked the end of an era in Alpena. Thank you to all the staff, vendors, and loyal customers over the past 41 years.
